Captain's Log, 13th of Malachite.
The boy Scorpios expressed a desire today to follow in the military tradition of our fair fortress.
Having just reached adulthood, he is certainly entitled to this choice.
I have granted him armor and a shield, but I will allow him no weapon until he knows how to conduct himself in battle.
